RSPSoc 2009 Extended Illustrated Abstract Submission

Abstract submission for consideration at the RSPSoc 2009 conference closed on 1st April 2009. We do not foresee a second call for papers. However, if you believe that your work is of exceptional significance to warrant presentation (oral or poster) at the conference please send an abstract to rspsoc2009@le.ac.uk. We will review and contact you.

Authors have been notified of details concerning the format of the Extended Illustrated Abstract (EIA) that will contribute to the Annual Conference Proceedings that will be distributed in electronic format to delegates at the conference. The MS Word .doc template can be downloaded here.

For EIA submission, please note the following information:

1. The creation of an account on the conference management software that we are using (ConfTool) is essential. Further information is given towards the bottom of the page. This should have already been done by the author submitting the review abstract.
2. Once in conftool, click on Your Submissions and then Final Upload.
3. The deadline for submission of the EIA is 23:59 local time on 30th June 2009.
4. If you need to change author information, please contact the conference organisers on rspsoc2009@le.ac.uk. We will change it for you.
5. An EIA is expected for each submission, regardless of whether it was selected for poster or oral presentation.
6. The author, or one at least of the co-authors, must be a registered and fully paid-up delegate of the conference by the 1st July 2009. Otherwise the paper might be withdrawn.
7. Only files with a .doc extension will be accepted. Maximum file size is 10 MBytes. Please compress images where appropriate.
8. Please follow the instructions carefully in the template. If significant editing by the organisers is necessary, the file will be sent back to you.
9. Failure to submit an EIA may result in your paper being withdrawn from the conference.

Your EIA should be submitted online using ConfTool a conference administration tool. Authors and contributors are requested to create their accounts, submit contributions (abstracts at this time) and manage their submitted papers using this system. Formal conference registration is managed through Conftool.
